NestMates ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the NestMates application.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and any content you create within the app such as chores, messages, schedules, and profile details. We do not collect payment information.
We use your information solely to operate and improve the NestMates service. This includes displaying your profile to verified members of your household, enabling household coordination features, and responding to support requests. We do not use your data for advertising.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your household data is only visible to verified members of your household. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Your data is stored securely on our servers hosted via Railway. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings → Danger Zone, which permanently removes all your personal data. Households with no activity for 21 days are automatically deleted.
NestMates is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can update your profile information within the app, or delete your account entirely from Settings. For any other data requests, contact us at the address below.
NestMates is hosted on Railway (railway.app). Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy. We do not integrate with any advertising or analytics third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated policy at this URL. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
